Welcome to Lower Macungie Township Recreation.

We offer a variety of programs at the Community Center, the Hills at Lockridge Community Building, the Camp Olympic Barn and various parks.

It is our goal to provide enriching, rewarding programs. Our staff is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of our residents, providing services which strengthen our community. Programs include a variety of  options including physical fitness, creative endeavors, artistic expression, musical exploration and community service. We create opportunities for connection, growth and development for the physical and mental well being of our community.

We provide many services to our community including:

• Craft Show
  Held the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, this annual celebration features over 100 local artisans at the Community Center. Save the date - We hope to see you Saturday, November 18, 2023 9am - 3pm.

• Christmas Tree Lighting
  December 1st 6pm-8pm Now located at the LMT Community Center to offer indoor and outdoor holiday cheer! We are partnering with the Lower Macungie Fire Department to bring you this festive event! Immerse yourself in a snowy paradise of fun (winter hats and gloves required). Enjoy the LMMS band and Emmaus HS choir, elves workshop of crafts, balloon artist, characters, hot cocoa and coffee, food trucks, s'mores stations and more!

• Community Day
  This annual event each May promotes businesses and organizations located in Lower Macungie Township. We encourage residents to join us for many fun activities. Back by popular demand, food trucks will be available for purchases. There will be games, inflatables, family friendly entertainment and live music!  We hope to see you May 7, 2024!  

• Garden Plots
  This summer season rental is offered at the community garden plots on Bogie Avenue. 

• Summer Playground Program
  This summer option offers children seven weeks of fun recreation activities in our parks. We hope you join us in 2024.   

• Pool
  We are open Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend.  Membership and daily admissions are available seasonally.
