About Us
The Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) includes three residents that are appointed by the Board of Commissioners to serve three-year terms. The Committee is governed by Ordinance 2022-06.
Lower Macungie’s Public Safety Advisory Committee addresses concerns about conditions that may impact the safety of township residents. While the PSAC primarily addresses issues related to traffic, signage, and parking, the PSAC is also interested in any safety issue within the township. Upon receiving an issue from a resident, the PSAC will investigate the problem and provide a recommended solution to the Board of Commissioners.
Citizens who have any safety related issues are encouraged to attend PSAC meetings. If the issue is specifically related to a parking, traffic or signage concern, citizens are requested to complete the Traffic Concern/Signage Request Form. Paper versions of the form are located in the Township Office and may be returned directly to the Township Office.
